Nature
With most of our day spent outdoors, we cherish nature as an essential teacher in the journey of childhood. We have woven the outdoors into the very fabric of our educational philosophy. We offer children a variety of scenery in their outdoor play with a covered play space, a large yard, and a trail directly from our backyard to a park with a large grassy field and playground.

Community
Our preschool is more than just a place of learning, it is a vibrant and supportive village where children, parents, and educators come together to form lasting connections. We value parent participation and host several parties throughout the year for everyone to gather and enjoy the company of other families in the same chapter of life. We know it takes a village, and offer several free ‘Parent’s Night Out’ events, have a solid system for date night babysitting swaps between our families, and host a once a month dinner with parents to just meet up, enjoy a meal and develop relationships. We have an amazing community of families.

WHat We Offer
We are a year-round preschool, serving children ages 2.5-5 located in Skyway 98178
We use the Brightwheel App to send parent’s updates on their child’s day, including photos, activity updates what and how much they ate and when they used the restroom.
We currently have dogs, cats, bunnies, and a hamster named French fry, but are currently preparing our enclosures for two mini pigs coming in Spring 2024 and 2 goats in Summer 2024! Caring for animals fosters empathy, responsibility, and an understanding of the interconnectedness of all living beings. Whether feeding the hamster, tending to the rabbits, or observing the gentle rhythm of farm life, children at our preschool develop a deep sense of respect for the natural world.
We have three mature cherry trees, apple tree, and pear tree, as well as an entire forest trail of blackberries that the kids seasonally enjoy and often help cook/bake with the fruits we harvest.
Lunch and two snacks are included in tuition cost. We strive to provide wholesome, nutritious, and thoughtfully prepared meals. We source locally whenever possible, emphasizing fresh, seasonal ingredients to align with the rhythm of nature.
We have a wonderful forested trail directly from our backyard to a large park with an open field on one side and a playground on the other where we visit often and children and are offered the opportunity to engage in risky play and learn the boundaries of what their bodies can do.
We do NOT require children to be potty trained and provide all diapers and wipes for children still in diapers.
We strive to prepare children who are soon entering into kindergarten with a holistic and enriching foundation. Beyond the traditional academic readiness, we focus on nurturing the whole child—emotionally, socially, and intellectually. Our play and seasonally based curriculum encourages imaginative exploration which fosters a love for learning that goes beyond rote memorization.
