Teacher Zoe

Zoe is the director and founder of Happy Little Explorers, she is a mother of two and an educator with over 10 years of early childhood education experience. Zoe has a degree in early childhood education with a minor in human and family studies is always continuing her education in the field and is currently working on her Montessori teaching certificate.
She is a parent to two young children and has the understanding and empathy for what it means to parent a preschooler. After school or on weekends you can find Zoe spending time with and caring for her family and her many animals!
Teacher Reed

oTeacher Reed is our in house do-it-all-er. He makes our lunches and snacks for us with so much thought and love into each recipe he makes. He is our fixer, our lawn maintenance, our garbage man, our substitute teacher, and everything in between!
Reed has over 10 years of experience coaching youth sports, including boys soccer at Garfield High School for many years before having two young kids of his own! He has completed all of the state required education to be our fill in teacher and does an amazing job, we are so grateful for all of his help!
Teacher Itzel
(She/Her pronouns)
Teacher Itzel is our full time ‘Tadpoles’ teacher. She has a special skillset with the two year old crowd and brings so much joy and warmth to our classroom. She’s a story time pro and has an incredibly calm and patient demeanor that radiates through our class.
Itzel has several years experience in early childcare with working in preschool and daycare classes, as well as being a parent! She is also fully licensed through DCYF and has all of her requirements to be a lead teacher in WA (First Aid, CPR, Background check, Education requirements, etc.)
